Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment
We treat accessibility as part of building the product, not as a compliance exercise bolted on afterwards. We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which also satisfies the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA) under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 5773-2013, and aligns with the standard applied under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 in the United States.
2. Conformance status
Motionly is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means most of the service meets the standard, and some parts do not yet. We publish this honestly rather than claiming full conformance we have not independently verified.
This assessment is based on our own ongoing review of the platform, using automated testing and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks. It has not yet been validated by an external accessibility auditor. We intend to commission an independent audit and will update this page with its date and findings when we do.
3. What we have implemented
- Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy, landmarks, and lists, so assistive technology can navigate and announce the page correctly.
- Full keyboard operability for interactive controls, with a visible focus indicator, and no keyboard traps.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text and interface colors chosen to meet the AA contrast minimums (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and interface components).
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels, and errors reported in text rather than by color alone.
- Responsive layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels, and remain usable at 200% zoom.
- Support for the operating system's reduced-motion preference: where a visitor has asked for less motion, decorative interface animation is suppressed.
- A right-to-left Hebrew interface with a matched Hebrew typeface, so Hebrew-speaking users are not left with fallback rendering.
- Video output includes generated voiceover, and ads can be exported for captioning on the platforms you publish to.
4. Known limitations
We would rather name these than let you discover them. We are actively working on each:
- The video editor and preview canvas. The timeline and animation preview are inherently visual surfaces. Keyboard and screen-reader support for them is incomplete, and some editing operations are difficult without a pointer. If this blocks you, contact us — we will help you get the result you need directly.
- Generated video content. Ads produced by the platform are visual media. We do not currently burn captions into rendered output automatically, and generated on-screen text is not exposed as machine-readable text.
- Some third-party components. Parts of the checkout and authentication flows are rendered by external providers (Stripe, Supabase) whose accessibility we do not fully control. We monitor these and will raise defects with the providers.
- Older generated pages. A small number of older marketing and gallery pages have not yet been through a full accessibility review.
5. Report a barrier — and what we will do
If you hit something you cannot use, tell us. You do not need to know the standard, use the right terminology, or explain your disability. Describing what you were trying to do and what happened is enough.

Our response commitment. We acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and give you a substantive answer — a fix, a timetable, or a workaround that gets you what you needed — within 10 business days. Where a fix will take longer, we will say so plainly and offer an alternative way to use the service in the meantime, at no extra cost.

7. Technical specifications
Accessibility of Motionly relies on the following technologies: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, JavaScript, SVG, and MP4/H.264 video. It depends on these being supported by your browser and any assistive technology you use. We test against current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, with VoiceOver and NVDA.
8. Scope, and services not covered
This statement applies to the Motionly website and web application at motionly.studio. It does not cover third-party websites we link to, or the platforms on which you publish the ads you create.
Motionly is an online service with no physical premises open to the public. If you require assistance in an alternative format or a different channel in order to use the service, contact the coordinator above and we will arrange it.
9. Escalation
If our response does not resolve your issue, you may escalate. In Israel, to the Commission for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the Ministry of Justice. In the United States, to the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice. In the EU or UK, to your national equality or accessibility body. We would much rather you came back to us first — see our Terms, Section 16, on resolving things directly — but the choice is yours, and using it will never affect your account.
10. Review
We review this statement at least once a year and whenever we make significant changes to the platform. Last reviewed: September 2, 2026.
